As every online marketer knows by now, Google will no longer offer Universal Analytics starting next July. In its place will be Google Analytics 4 (GA4). The sooner you start using this new version, the better. Because do you wait until the last minute? Then you are missing a lot of data. Data from Universal Analytics cannot be imported into GA4. It is therefore smart to start collecting data in GA4 now. Of course, this change also affects your call tracking data. You still get that in Universal Analytics. But in the meantime we have also built a link to GA4.
The new link with GA4 is so made
In a few simple steps, you will establish your own link between our call tracking application and GA4. The most important thing is that you accurately copy two codes from Analytics into our application. By means of a new 'stream' in Analytics, and a number of settings in the Qooqie application, this link is realized within a few minutes. How exactly does this work? You can read about it step by step in our Support Center.
The benefits of this new linkage
Are you used to our pairing with Universal Analytics? Then the pairing with GA4 offers two advantages:
You are no longer limited to the four default values from the link with Universal Analytics. From now on, you can select the values that are relevant to you.
From now on, you can have a time stamp included per event. With Universal Analytics, this was not possible. The date and time of a call, then were the date and time the data was shot in. These are not necessarily the same. So by linking to GA4, you have more accurate call tracking data. Within Google Ads this was already the case, and now so within Analytics as well.
