Calls in Google Analytics

Google Analytics shows you how website visitors found your website and how they move through your website. Qooqie integrates with your current Google Analytics account by sending call data to the goals you have created within Google Analytics.

How it works

Each call is sent to Google Analytics based on the referring source. This is done with the help of a so-called event (event). All events are recorded under the event category "call tracking" and this looks like this:

As a Qooqie user, you have the freedom to configure the call tracking event to your liking.

  • Category: Call tracking
  • Label dynamic: [Traffic source], [destination], [rating], [call duration] or [GCLID].
  • Label offsite: [Campaign name]
Value: [€], [assessment value], [call duration in stars] or [no value].

The events can be found in the events report of Google Analytics.

More insight into the behavior of your target audience

Our Google Analytics call tracking integration provides a more complete way to report and analyze information from Analytics, giving you more insight into the actual behavior of your target audience. The integration is quick and easy to set up and gives you the information you need to optimize your marketing strategy.

Qooqie's Google Analytics integration

  • Putting Qooqie call tracking data alongside your online statistics gives you a clear picture of all contact moments and conversions.
  • Personalize your own metrics and customize reports to suit your organization's needs.
  • By seeing the web activity of your callers before and after they call your business, you get a clearer picture of the impact of your marketing efforts.

Which calls measure as conversions?

By default, only calls on dynamic call tracking numbers are measured in Google Analytics. This means that offsite calls are not automatically processed in your Analytics account:

  • Offsite calls

With offsite call tracking numbers, you gain insight into what traditional media is generating in phone calls. These "fixed" numbers can be used for such things as Google Ads call extensions, flyers, newspapers and e-mail signatures.

Do you want these calls to be included in Google Analytics? Then follow the steps below:

  1. Log in within Qooqie.
  2. From the left menu, navigate to Integrations > Google Analytics.
  3. Click Events (1st tab).
  4. Check "Events for offsite calls .
  5. Click Save.
